D.T. Brown Seeds - Cucumber Lebanese - 75 Seed Pack

Overview

Botanical Name: Cucumis sativus

Grow cucumber in your garden, and enjoy delicious dishes with your very own, home grown produce. Cucumber Lebanese seeds produce excellent, sweet tasting, burpless variety fruit. They can be eaten whole or sliced, and are best when picked up to 10cm (4in) long. Cucumbers do best in a well prepared soil with added fertiliser. If space is limited, train up a trellis or down a bank.

Care Advice

  • Planting - Sow 12mm deep, direct in final position. Sow 4-5 seeds in clumps, later thin to two strongest seedlings. Allow 100cm between rows and 40-50cm between clumps. At 5 or 6 leaves, pinch out growing tips to encourage side shoots. Keep well watered and prepare the soil with organic material and or complete fertiliser.
  • Watering needs -  Keep this plant well watered.

Key Info

  • Light Requirements - Full sun
  • Soil Requirements - Well drained soil
